About the position

The Community Manager at Blue Vine Apartments is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring that all aspects of property management are handled efficiently and effectively. This includes managing financial matters, handling resident relations, coordinating maintenance work, enforcing leases, and preparing performance reports. The Community Manager will manage the activities of the entire on-site staff and coordinate available resources to accomplish financial and operational objectives as set forth by Westland Real Estate Group's vision. The role requires a strong understanding of property management principles and the ability to implement processes that achieve financial and operational goals. The Community Manager will maintain accurate records of all community transactions, ensure compliance with industry laws and regulations, and conduct regular inspections of the property. They will also be responsible for overseeing leasing activities, encouraging positive resident relations, and managing vendor and contractor work to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed satisfactorily. In addition to property management, the Community Manager will handle finance and budgetary responsibilities, including setting market rents, formulating annual budgets, and managing operating expenses. They will oversee property personnel, manage their performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. The Community Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive community environment and ensuring that the property meets the needs of its residents while achieving the company's operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned community
  • Maintain accurate records of all community transactions

  • Ensure property has appropriate security

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 - 5 years experience as a Property Manager or similar role
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred
  • Working knowledge of property regulations
  • Ability to understand financial and operational goals and implement processes to achieve goals
