About the position

The Community Manager at IWG is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention while fostering a positive working environment. This role involves managing a team, welcoming members, coordinating events, and maintaining the center's facilities. The Community Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and supporting business growth within the workspace network.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the center to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Motivate and lead the team to create a positive working environment.
  • Welcome members and assist them with their needs, including setting up meeting rooms and Wi-Fi connections.
  • Conduct tours for potential members and explain the benefits of IWG membership.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new members and ensure all necessary preparations are made.
  • Review billing to ensure all customers are current and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare for team coaching sessions and manage paid time off requests for staff.
  • Maintain the center's facilities and ensure everything is show-ready for tours.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or events.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Ability to provide sales support and handle customer escalations effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to pre-empt issues before they arise.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT equipment.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country of application and at least 18 years old.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a coworking or shared workspace environment.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
