About the position

The Community Manager at Cloverdale Plaza Apartments is responsible for overseeing the overall functions of the property, which includes managing rental applications, rent collections, compliance, and maintenance operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the property runs smoothly and meets the needs of its residents while maintaining high standards of service and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage rental applications through HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit programs.
• Oversee rent collections and annual re-certifications.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and maintain accurate filing systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure budget adherence.
• Conduct unit inspections and oversee maintenance functions to ensure curb appeal and timely unit turns.
• Lead and supervise office personnel, including Leasing Agents and Assistant Managers.

Requirements

• Previous working experience in affordable housing is preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is preferred.
