About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a property, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and achieving financial and operational goals. This role involves managing staff, handling resident relations, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance occupancy and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned property.
• Analyze financial statements and develop budgets for the property.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rent and fees.
• Approve invoices from vendors and manage communication regarding payments.
• Control expenditures and maintain the petty cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement processes and conduct periodic apartment inspections.
• Respond to resident complaints and ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise property staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships and provide updates on property performance.

Requirements

• Experience in property management or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
