About the position

As a Community Manager with Bell Partners, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing all community operations to ensure the delivery of quality services and a high degree of customer satisfaction. Your leadership will motivate community staff members to provide exceptional services to residents, maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. You will be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, management, and feedback of associates, ensuring that each team member is equipped to contribute effectively to the community's success. In this role, you will be tasked with motivating associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities. You will ensure that your team meets the strategic drivers set by Bell Partners, training staff members on proper leasing techniques and resident service. Your responsibilities will also include maximizing property performance, which involves walking the grounds and inspecting apartments to ensure they meet the company's standards. You will conduct tours for visitors and guests, showcasing the amenities and community features, which may require navigating hills and climbing stairs. Regular performance appraisals will be part of your duties, addressing any employee relations or associate concerns that arise. You will maintain complete and accurate associate files, striving for a high level of associate satisfaction, which will be measured through periodic surveys. Weekly meetings with leasing and maintenance staff will be essential to ensure alignment and address any operational issues. Additionally, you will develop and administer the community budget, evaluating unit prices in accordance with market conditions and budget goals. An annual marketing plan will be developed under your guidance, with monthly marketing reviews to assess effectiveness. You will also obtain bids for all contract services and oversee routine capital projects, coordinating with Construction Services as necessary. You will hold responsibility for 35% of leasing activities, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Regular attendance and punctuality will be expected as part of your commitment to the role.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, or relevant experience, or a combination of both.
  • Successful supervisory experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in a property management role preferred.
  • Ability to build, lead, and serve on teams.
  • Strong marketing skills required.
  • Advanced mathematical skills and ability to analyze and explain financial reports.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Excel.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task required.
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager or other similar programs preferred.
