About the position

The Community Manager for Vintage Woods Senior Apartments in Fair Oaks, CA, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 185-unit senior community. This role involves managing property operations, supervising staff, and coordinating activities and resources to achieve property objectives. The Community Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure that the community meets its occupancy and property value goals. This position is non-exempt and follows a Monday through Friday work schedule, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $28 to $30, depending on experience. As a Community Manager, you will be accountable for maximizing occupancy levels and enhancing property values. This includes developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing resident relations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, particularly those related to Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties. You will also be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, overseeing maintenance requests, and ensuring that the community is a safe and welcoming environment for residents. In addition to property management, the Community Manager will be involved in staff management, which includes hiring, training, and evaluating on-site staff. You will need to foster a collaborative work environment that encourages team development and effective communication. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Vintage Woods Senior Apartments.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff activities and resources.
  • Manage property operations to maximize occupancy levels and property values.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the community.
  • Maintain resident relations and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance requests and ensure property safety and cleanliness.
  • Conduct staff hiring, training, and evaluations.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in on-site property management.
  • Knowledge of Tax Credit properties and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with YARDI Voyager software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
