Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all members and visitors to the club
  • Address customer queries, concerns, and feedback in a timely, professional, and personable manner through email, phone, and WhatsApp
  • Promote a positive and welcoming environment for players and guests
  • Be able to answer questions about padel gear and gameplay - training will be provided
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and safety of the courts, lounge, and surrounding area
  • Ensure that all areas are tidy, equipment is in good condition, and any reported issues are addressed promptly
  • Coordinate with food and beverage delivery
  • Oversee the setup and takedown of any events or club-sponsored activities
  • Become an expert in Playbypoint, our booking management software
  • Check in players as they arrive, confirming their booking details, providing any equipment rentals, and ensuring a smooth transition onto and off the courts
  • Handle any conflicts or issues related to bookings with professionalism and according to club policies
  • Suggest open games, clinics, and tournaments for customers to join as they come to the club
  • Play an active role in the Park Padel WhatsApp group to set up and fill games
  • Jump onto the court to play when customers need to fill a game or event

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact, diplomacy and professionalism
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with padel or intermediate/advanced playing experience with other racket sports
  • Willingness to learn padel and play when there is availability and need
