About the position

The Community Manager at RangeWater Residential is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multi-family property, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations while achieving financial and operational goals. This role involves managing a team, enhancing property performance, and maintaining a positive living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily activities and resources of the property.
  • Perform employee evaluations and manage team performance.
  • Interview, hire, orient, and train new hires.
  • Meet targeted revenue goals through sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify areas for improvement for the property.
  • Conduct budget modeling, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Complete financial records, documents, and reports.
  • Manage invoicing and financial documentation.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend property improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with lease enforcement processes.
  • Conduct property tours and provide performance updates to clients.
  • Manage contractors and vendors for property maintenance.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the property.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Shop competition and build industry relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in property management.
  • 1-3 years of management experience in multi-family property management.
  • Proven skills in hiring, leading, and managing team members.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi or Entrata).
  • Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales and marketing within property management.
  • Customer service background sufficient to manage day-to-day operations.
