As a Community Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned property, including overseeing team members, daily activities, and resources to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals. You will ensure that the operation of the property complies with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other laws and regulations governing multi-family housing operations. Your role will involve providing input into the development of budgets, analyzing financial statements, and reviewing marketing information to establish performance patterns. You will be responsible for meeting targeted revenues by setting rent rates, ensuring timely collection of rent and fees, and preparing monthly financial status reports. Additionally, you will oversee the lease enforcement process, approve prospective resident applications, and conduct periodic apartment inspections. Promoting resident satisfaction and retention will be key, as you will respond to complaints and service requests in a timely manner. Regular property inspections will be conducted to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet established standards for safety and cleanliness. You will also supervise property staff, manage their performance, and assist in managing the client/owner relationship by providing updates on property performance and conducting property tours.

Responsibilities

  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and service issues.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Supervise property staff by hiring, training, and managing performance.
  • Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by providing updates on property performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in investment management.
