About the position

The Community Manager at PMP Management is responsible for overseeing the operation and administration of multiple Homeowners Associations (HOAs). This role requires a detail-oriented and communicative professional who can effectively liaise with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners, ensuring that the management agreement and policies are adhered to. The Community Manager will utilize various management tools to provide exceptional service and support to the associations they manage, while also facilitating board meetings and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners.
  • Oversee the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with the management agreement and policies.
  • Perform administrative and management duties as requested by the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure effective utilization of PMP Management tools such as maintenance calendar and financial summaries.
  • Review monthly financial reports and summaries.
  • Provide recommendations to the Board of Directors on community issues.
  • Set up, attend, and facilitate Board meetings according to PMP standards.
  • Prepare Board packages according to PMP's standards.
  • Assist with the architectural review process and routine inspections.
  • Coordinate inspections of building facilities and arrange follow-up actions as required.
  • Conduct walks/inspections of the communities as required in the management contract.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • 2 Years of experience as a HOA portfolio or on-site manager preferred
  • CMCA certification preferred
  • Extraordinary customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to quickly learn and understand company used software programs
  • Proficient in reviewing and understanding budgets and financial statements
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An honest, responsible, optimistic, and enjoyable demeanor.
