About the position

Integrated Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead our community at HomeTowne at Picadilly in Pflugerville, TX. This full-time position is crucial for overseeing all property operations and ensuring that the community thrives under your leadership. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, resources, and property objectives set forth by the Property Owner. Your primary goal will be to maintain superior customer satisfaction while maximizing the property’s net cash flow and asset value. You will also ensure compliance with lender, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. In this role, you will conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as adhere to the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff, conducting annual performance evaluations, and preparing employees for career progression within the company. You will also oversee the property’s accounting system, OneSite, and ensure that the property’s budget is adhered to. Your responsibilities will include maintaining property management files, approving lease paperwork, monitoring move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring that all files are submitted to corporate for final approval. You will also be tasked with maintaining a strict rent and NSF collection program, maximizing security deposit deductions, and completing all required reports in a timely manner. Additionally, you will manage office workflow, ensure adequate office supplies, and maintain the organization of the office space. This position may require evening and weekend work as needed, and you will be expected to attend corporate meetings as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all property operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain superior customer satisfaction while maximizing net cash flow and asset value.
  • Manage the property’s accounting system and budget using OneSite.
  • Approve lease paperwork and ensure compliance with LIHTC program requirements.
  • Monitor move-ins and move-outs, ensuring timely processing of files.
  • Implement a strict rent and NSF collection program.
  • Complete required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Administer office workflow efficiently and maintain office organization.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Act and other applicable laws.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Tax Credit experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in real estate accounting is necessary.
  • Proven track record of measurable peak property performance in a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Low Income Housing and Tax Credits (LIHTC) Program is recommended.
