About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the property to maximize its financial performance and resident satisfaction. This role involves leading and motivating the property team, implementing cost-effective strategies, and executing marketing and leasing plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining strong relationships with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property operations to ensure high-quality resident experiences and financial performance.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster strong resident relationships, address concerns promptly, and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee marketing and leasing initiatives to attract and retain residents.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure the property is well-maintained, adhering to company standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including rent rolls, delinquency reports, and budget analyses.
  • Collaborate with the regional team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve property goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) certification
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
