About the position

As a Community Manager at IWG, you will oversee the daily operations of the workspace center, ensuring a positive environment for customers and staff. Your role involves motivating your team, managing customer relationships, and maintaining high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the workspace center.
  • Motivate and lead the team to create a positive working environment.
  • Welcome members and assist them with their needs, including setting up meeting rooms and technology.
  • Conduct tours for potential members and explain the benefits of IWG membership.
  • Review billing to ensure all customers are current.
  • Coordinate the move-in process for new clients, ensuring all preparations are complete.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide sales support as needed.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs of the center to maintain a show-ready environment.
  • Prepare for coaching conversations with team members and review paid time off requests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or events industry.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing operations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle escalations effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using basic IT equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and pre-empt issues before they arise.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to fast-changing situations.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country of application and at least 18 years old.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales support or business development.
  • Familiarity with coworking spaces or flexible work environments.
