About the position

As a Community Manager at IWG, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of your center. Your primary responsibility will be to motivate your team to create a welcoming and efficient working environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and retention. Each day will begin with a review of the daily report to plan your activities and ensure that your team is prepared for the day ahead. You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, welcoming them and assisting with their needs, such as setting up meeting rooms and Wi-Fi connections. Throughout the day, you will engage with new members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities with other businesses in the center. You will also oversee the logistics of new move-ins, ensuring that welcome kits and access badges are ready. Customer engagement is key, and you will be expected to provide tours to potential members, highlighting the benefits of IWG membership. In addition to customer interaction, you will manage administrative tasks such as reviewing billing, ensuring that all customers are current, and maintaining the center's appearance. You will also handle requests for paid time off and prepare for coaching conversations with your team members. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying and resolving issues, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere, and adapting to the fast-paced environment of the workspace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the center to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Motivate and lead the team to create a positive working environment.
  • Welcome members and guests, assisting them with meeting room setups and technology needs.
  • Engage with new members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities.
  • Oversee the logistics of new move-ins, ensuring all preparations are complete.
  • Conduct tours for potential members and explain the benefits of IWG membership.
  • Review billing to ensure all customers are current and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain the center's appearance and ensure it is ready for tours and meetings.
  • Handle requests for paid time off and ensure appropriate coverage for the team.
  • Conduct coaching conversations with team members to support their development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or events.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic IT equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle customer escalations effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and pre-empt issues before they arise.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to fast-changing situations.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country of application and at least 18 years old.
