About the position

As a Community Manager at IWG, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of your center. Your primary responsibility will be to motivate your team to create an exceptional working environment that fosters customer satisfaction and retention. You will be the face of the center, welcoming members and guests, and ensuring they have everything they need for a productive day. Your day will start with a review of the daily report to plan and prepare for the day ahead. You will oversee reception, greet members, and assist them with their meeting room setups, including Wi-Fi connections and screen sharing applications. Throughout the day, you will engage with members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities. You will also manage logistics for new members moving into the center, ensuring that welcome kits and access badges are prepared in advance. Your role will involve conducting tours for potential new members, showcasing the benefits of IWG membership, and ensuring that the center is always show-ready for prospective clients. In addition to customer interaction, you will handle administrative tasks such as reviewing billing to ensure all customers are current, managing paid time off requests for your team, and preparing for coaching conversations. Your ability to multitask and preemptively address issues will be crucial in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the center. You will also be responsible for maintaining the physical space, ensuring that it is clean, functional, and inviting for all members and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the center to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Motivate and lead the team to create a positive working environment.
  • Welcome members and guests, assisting them with meeting room setups and technology.
  • Engage with members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities.
  • Oversee logistics for new member move-ins, including preparation of welcome kits and access badges.
  • Conduct tours for potential new members and explain the benefits of IWG membership.
  • Review billing to ensure all customers are current and address any discrepancies.
  • Manage team schedules and paid time off requests to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain the physical space, ensuring it is clean and show-ready for tours.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or events industry.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team.
  • Ability to provide sales support and handle customer escalations effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to preemptively address issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using basic IT equipment.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country of application and at least 18 years old.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a coworking or shared office environment.
  • Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes.
  • Knowledge of networking and community-building strategies.
