About the position

The Community Manager at Greystar is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a property, ensuring that it meets financial and operational goals while complying with relevant laws and company policies. This role involves managing a team, handling budgets, and maintaining resident satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned property.
• Oversee property staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and analyze budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rents and fees.
• Approve vendor invoices and manage communication with contractors and service providers.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Respond to resident complaints and service requests in a timely manner.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing and other relevant laws.

Requirements

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• 2 years of Community Manager experience preferred.
• Budget and financial management experience required.
