About the position

The Community Manager at The Ryland Society Hill Apartments is responsible for overseeing all aspects of apartment operations, ensuring the community is well-maintained and financially stable. This role involves managing personnel, maintaining excellent resident relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The Community Manager will also handle financial responsibilities, marketing efforts, and vendor contracts, while leading a team to create a positive living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the community.
  • Create, maintain, and encourage excellent resident relations by all team members.
  • Manage the maintenance of the community with the assistance of the maintenance team.
  • Maintain and manage all financial responsibilities for the community.
  • Manage and monitor all rental collections for the community.
  • Handle all personnel issues within the community.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed within the community.
  • Manage, create, and monitor all aspects of marketing for the community.
  • Oversee vendor contract administration.
  • Manage revenue management and pricing at the community.
  • Coordinate community renovations with the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Be available to work weekends and after hours as necessary due to emergencies or business needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in Property Management.
  • Experience with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Yardi.
  • A track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performance teams.
  • A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, ownership groups, and vendors.
  • Strong financial skills and experience in creating and managing a budget.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum of three to five years of Property Manager experience required, with high-rise luxury and lease-up experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential strongly preferred.
