About the position

Sentry Management is seeking an experienced Community Association Manager (Portfolio) to join our team in Clermont, FL. As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in the overall supervision of the community associations under your management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure maximum client satisfaction by effectively meeting the needs of each assigned Board and Community. This position requires a proactive approach to managing relationships with the Board of Directors, vendors, and the Sentry Home Office, all while providing exemplary customer service and maintaining the company's goals. In this role, you will be expected to attend, prepare for, and participate in annual and general meetings, ensuring that all necessary documentation and reports are ready for presentation. You will manage vendor proposals and contracts, oversee risk management and insurance matters, and handle maintenance and architectural requests and approvals. Coordination of various employees, including janitorial and maintenance staff, will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be tasked with collecting invoices, coding them for payment, and following up on monthly assessments due. Serving as a liaison between association boards and legal counsel will be essential, as will preparing manager reports and financial summaries for the boards. You will also manage the onboarding and exit processes of associations, ensuring a smooth transition and continued satisfaction for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Maintain licensing in some states
  • Have previous Community Management Experience
  • Be professional, organized and self-motivated
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold a valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record
  • Have a proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
