About the position

The Community Manager role at Wunderman Thompson LLC is a freelance position focused on building and retaining engagement across various social media channels for a major tech brand. This role requires working weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, for a total of 16 hours per week. The position is remote but requires adherence to Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. The Community Manager will be responsible for developing engaging content, moderating conversations, and implementing social media campaigns that align with marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and retain engagement across social channels focusing on B2C engagement.
  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Moderate online and offline conversations with the community.
  • Act as the face and voice of the brand, managing all community communications.
  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Understand and implement the brand's point of view while responding to followers.
  • Seek out new opportunities for the brand to connect with customers and creators.
  • Work with the creative team to provide engaging text, image, and video content.
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • Liaise with brand departments to stay updated on new products and features.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
  • Launch initiatives such as online forums, ambassador programs, and event series.
  • Identify and track relevant community metrics.

Requirements

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
