About the position

The Community Manager at Vesta City Park is responsible for leading the community staff to achieve excellence in property management, ensuring potential residents find their dream homes, and maintaining high satisfaction among current residents. This role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service, and operational excellence within a multi-family residential environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage community staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Assist potential residents in finding their new homes.
  • Ensure current residents are satisfied and engaged with the community.
  • Oversee the management of a single community with 500 units.
  • Analyze financial reports and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate renovations and property improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of multi-family community management experience or 6 years in a leadership role within a multi-family community.
  • Experience managing a single community with 500 units.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to recognize details, plan accordingly, and meet deadlines.
  • Renovations experience required.
  • Ability to analyze computerized rent rolls and financial reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills desired.
  • Experience with Entrata preferred; Yardi or RealPage acceptable.
  • Experience using LRO or YieldStar.
  • Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
