About the position

As a Community Manager at IWG, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of your center. Your primary responsibility will be to motivate your team to create an exceptional working environment that fosters customer satisfaction and retention. You will be the face of the center, welcoming members and guests, and ensuring they have everything they need for a productive day. Your day will start with a review of the daily report to plan and prepare for the day ahead. You will oversee reception, greet members, and assist them in setting up their meeting rooms, including Wi-Fi connections and screen sharing applications. Throughout the day, you will engage with members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities. You will also manage logistics for new members moving into the center, ensuring that welcome kits, badges, and keys are prepared in advance. Customer inquiries about coworking memberships will also fall under your purview, where you will provide tours and explain the benefits of IWG membership. In addition to customer interaction, you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as reviewing billing to ensure all customers are current, maintaining the center's appearance, and addressing any maintenance issues. You will also handle team management tasks, including reviewing paid time off requests and preparing for coaching conversations with team members. Your role is essential in creating a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff, ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the center to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Motivate and lead the team to create a positive working environment.
  • Welcome members and guests, assisting them with meeting room setups and technology.
  • Engage with members to understand their business needs and facilitate networking opportunities.
  • Manage logistics for new member move-ins, including preparation of welcome kits and access credentials.
  • Conduct tours for potential customers interested in coworking memberships.
  • Review billing to ensure all customers are current and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain the center's appearance and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as reviewing paid time off requests and preparing for team coaching sessions.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or events industry.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Ability to provide sales support and handle customer escalations effectively.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to pre-empt issues before they arise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to fast-changing situations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using basic IT equipment.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country of application and at least 18 years old.
