About the position

The Community Manager at Avanti Residential plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of property management, ensuring maintenance excellence, enhancing property value, and achieving community objectives. This position involves managing on-site teams, financials, and resources while optimizing rent levels and occupancy rates. The Community Manager also trains the Assistant Community Manager to take over responsibilities in their absence, fostering a productive and engaged team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day property management operations.
• Ensure maintenance excellence and enhance property value.
• Achieve community objectives set by the Regional Director.
• Manage and resolve resident issues or disturbances requiring immediate attention.
• Communicate and guide residents to the Director of Resident Experience for further action on urgent matters.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to formulate and manage annual budgets.
• Drive property performance using Apartment Snapshot to evaluate KPIs and implement improvements.
• Monitor property cleanliness and presentation standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of supervisory responsibility or previous Assistant Community Manager experience required.
• 3+ years of property management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of resident and eviction laws and computerized property management software, preferably YARDI, preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to delegate and problem-solve issues.
• CAM certification preferred.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
