About the position

The Community Manager at Redstone Residential is a full-time, exempt position responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations. This role is crucial for achieving operational and financial goals, ensuring a positive living environment for residents, and managing a team effectively. The Community Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager and plays a key role in the success of the property by monitoring performance indicators and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Redstone Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on-site
  • Manage the property to the approved operating budget
  • Oversee the lease-up of the property
  • Collect rent and manage delinquency
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to Redstone
  • Create a positive environment that enhances the experience for residents
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus and community resources
  • Promote and emphasize outstanding customer service through staff training and ongoing job performance evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Manage projects ranging from marketing initiatives to construction projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of student housing or multifamily property management experience required
  • 2+ years of property management or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to use and quickly learn technology - Google Apps, Microsoft Office, cloud-based management and dashboarding software
  • Ability to manage projects and multitask several processes at once under stressful conditions
  • Experience with Entrata Software or familiarity with PM software is a plus
  • Detail-oriented work ethic, experience managing to a budget, P&L ownership
  • Team Player - able to inspire team members to high levels of performance and to provide constructive feedback as needed
  • Previous client interface experience is required
