About the position

Growing Association Management Company, in our fast-paced Myrtle Beach location, needs a Community Manager to join our team! You will serve as one of the most visible members of our team and the ideal candidate must enjoy talking to people and proactively solving issues. As a Community Manager, you would be responsible for interacting with the HOA Board of Directors for a portfolio of several communities. You would serve as the Boards day-to-day liaison between the community members, vendors, and contractors. This role requires a proactive approach to community management, ensuring that the needs of the residents are met while maintaining a positive relationship with the Board and other stakeholders. You will be expected to conduct regular inspections of common area amenities, assist with rule enforcement, and coordinate community vendors. Additionally, you will organize and run the Board meetings, Annual community meetings, and Board elections, ensuring that all necessary documentation and preparations are in place for these events. The Community Manager will also need to possess excellent organizational abilities and exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential for this role. While 1-2 years in the HOA Management field is strongly preferred, extensive customer service skills acquired through call-center, restaurant, retail experience, or similar fields working directly with clients will also be highly considered. The ability to read financial statements and prepare budgets is crucial, as is the capacity to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities. You must be able to pass a background and credit check and have reliable transportation. Full in-house training will be provided, and assessment testing is required prior to an interview to determine if you meet our minimum qualifications. The assessments will cover Cognitive Ability, Motivation Potential, and Personality. We offer a competitive salary with the potential for monthly performance bonuses. The benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, disability, flexible spending account, and life insurance. Paid vacation and holidays, as well as a 401K plan, are also part of the package. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening meetings required, both in-person and virtual.
