About the position

We are looking for a skilled Community Manager to oversee all daily functions of a multi-family apartment community. This role requires a professional, experienced team leader who can supervise staff effectively and work well under pressure while meeting the goals of our property. The Community Manager will be responsible for creating an atmosphere of cooperation, enthusiasm, service urgency, teamwork, customer satisfaction, and professionalism among staff members. This position involves managing the fiscal budgetary compliance to approved operation budgets and inspecting the property daily to ensure a quality presentation of the community. In addition to overseeing daily operations, the Community Manager will maintain resident relationships, take ownership of resident complaints, and resolve issues related to service and lease provisions swiftly. The role also includes providing effective marketing and communications, advising management of pertinent issues related to the community, market, or other respective issues. The Community Manager will show and lease apartments, handle telephone inquiries, and collaborate with the Regional Manager to assess changes in the rental market through analysis of customer traffic and rental records. Furthermore, the Community Manager will plan, promote, and implement effective Resident Retention initiatives and organize events to build community and boost brand awareness. Exceptional service to all customers, residents, and vendors is a key expectation of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of property management experience preferred.
  • One year of property manager experience preferred.
  • CAM, CAPS or a Real Estate license is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Superior multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities.
