About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a manufactured housing community, focusing on driving sales goals, ensuring asset quality, meeting financial objectives, and maintaining resident safety and satisfaction. This part-time role requires adherence to Fair Housing Laws and involves managing daily operations, customer service, and maintenance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for all day-to-day operations of a mobile home community.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed daily.
  • Monitor and take accountabilities for all budgeted operational goals each month (controllable expenses, occupancy, collections, utilities).
  • Manage customer service by providing positive resident experiences.
  • Distribute resident violations daily to ensure that the community is clean and safety goals are met.
  • Ensure sales goals are met using marketing initiatives and creative ideas.
  • Oversight of daily maintenance and ensure work order system is being utilized.
  • Walk inventory homes to ensure repair work is done timely and cost-effective.
  • Manage collections daily and ensure the company goal of 3% or less is met.

Requirements

  • Bi-Lingual
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Property Management
  • Proficient in computer skills and software, including Microsoft Office.
  • 2-5 years in retail, hospitality and/or customer service industry.
  • Must have flexibility to work weekends when required.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
