About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of a residential community, ensuring a seamless experience for residents, prospective residents, and team members. This role involves leadership, financial management, leasing, and customer service, with a focus on creating a positive living environment and maximizing the community's value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate community activities and resources to provide a seamless experience for residents and team members.
  • Hire, train, and supervise team members, conducting ongoing training and performance reviews.
  • Prepare and execute the community budget, ensuring timely rent collection and bank deposits.
  • Oversee the screening process for applicants and maintain high standards for customer service.
  • Inspect the property regularly to ensure cleanliness and address any maintenance needs.
  • Build relationships with residents and respond to their needs and concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in property management, with at least one year as a Community Manager.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Yardi or other industry software preferred.
