About the position

The Community Manager at New Hope Housing, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing finances, and fostering resident relations. This role involves collaborating with corporate and on-site staff to fulfill the organization's mission of providing affordable housing and supportive services to low-income populations. The Community Manager also supervises building staff and implements strategies to achieve operational and financial goals while maintaining high standards of property management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
• Supervise building staff and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of property common areas and units.
• Prepare and review budgets to ensure financial performance meets goals.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to implement strategies and processes.
• Ensure timely completion of required reports and documentation.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and external partners.
• Oversee maintenance programs and ensure property appearance meets standards.
• Manage resident services and community programs.
• Foster employee engagement and team building.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years of relevant experience or CAM certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management (1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of LIHTC regulations (1 year preferred).
• Ability to interact with diverse populations.
