Responsibilities

  • Leasing units, including showing apartments and resident screening.
  • Collecting rents and preparing bank deposits.
  • Scheduling outside vendors as necessary, such as painters and carpet cleaners.
  • Maintaining a positive customer service attitude with everyone at the property.
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are completed.
  • Supervising on-site staff.
  • Staying familiar with market competition and rental rates.
  • Interacting with peers, co-workers, and the corporate office frequently and effectively.
  • Maintaining the office and files in a neat and orderly fashion.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of leasing or managerial experience in the rental property business and marketing.
  • 2-3 years experience with Rent Manager software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
