McKinley is seeking a motivated and energetic Community Manager to join our team within our beautiful apartment communities located in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate is an experienced and driven leader who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to create positive change within the community, aiming to enrich the quality of life for both team members and residents while achieving bottom-line financial results for the business. This position is part of McKinley's Owned Residential division, working at communities we own and operate as long-term assets. The compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, along with quarterly bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. As a Community Manager, you will not be confined to a typical office setting. Instead, you will be actively engaged in the community, ensuring that residents love their homes. This involves maintaining a clean, organized, and well-cared-for environment, from the entrance of the community to the dumpster area and everything in between. You will be responsible for creating an environment that motivates employees to achieve challenging goals and meet high standards. Your accountability will extend to the overall success of the community, including key operational components such as renewals, sales, apartment turns, expense control, resident work orders, and rent collections.

Responsibilities

  • Walk the community daily to ensure residents love their homes and maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Create a motivating environment for employees to achieve challenging goals and high standards.
  • Run a welcoming community that delights customers and builds loyalty.
  • Be accountable for the overall success of the community, including renewals, sales, apartment turns, expense control, resident work orders, and rent collections.

Requirements

  • Extensive supervisory experience leading groups of people.
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to transform difficult situations into positive outcomes.
  • Exposure to financial decision-making and ability to work within budgetary guidelines.
