About the position

As a Community Manager at McKinley Companies, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for both team members and residents within the community. You will be responsible for ensuring that the community is clean, organized, and well-maintained, from the entrance to the dumpster area. You will oversee the overall success of the community, which includes managing key operational components such as renewals, sales, apartment turnovers, expense control, resident work orders, and rent collections. Your ability to foster a welcoming atmosphere will be crucial in delighting customers and building loyalty among residents. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to transforming challenges into positive outcomes for both residents and team members. In addition to operational responsibilities, you will utilize YARDI software to track availability, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information. Your extensive supervisory experience will be essential as you lead your team to achieve excellence and drive performance improvements. You will also be expected to make informed financial decisions within budgetary guidelines, ensuring the community operates efficiently and effectively.
