About the position

The Community Manager at ResProp Management is responsible for overseeing the operations of a multifamily property, focusing on increasing revenue, enhancing resident satisfaction, and building a high-performing team. This role involves managing client relationships, conducting property inspections, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. The Community Manager will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive community environment.

Responsibilities

  • Increase property revenue by building a high-performing team with strengths in sales and service.
  • Assess, train and develop your team on salesmanship and operational best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with maintenance professionals to ensure the property presents as best in class.
  • Be accessible to the needs of the community, including nights and weekends if required.
  • Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting community tours, and providing updates on community performance.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and service issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow established procedures related to evictions and represent the community in court hearings as required.
  • Organize and participate in daily huddles to discuss company virtues and business goals.
  • Complete the budget strategy workbook and draft the annual operating budget for the property.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appeal of the property.
  • Complete all required training to ensure knowledge of the role is current.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • 3 years of experience in hiring, training, and coaching teams.
  • Solid business acumen with experience owning and driving P&L's.
  • A college degree.
