This position is part of McKinley's Owned Residential division, focusing on communities that are owned and operated as long-term assets. As a Community Manager, you will be expected to walk the community daily, ensuring that it is clean, organized, and well-maintained. You will create a motivating environment for employees, encouraging them to meet high standards and achieve challenging goals. Your accountability will extend to the overall success of the community, which includes managing operational components such as renewals, sales, apartment turnovers, expense control, resident work orders, and rent collections. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to customer satisfaction, as you will be the face of the community and responsible for building loyalty among residents.

Responsibilities

  • Walk the community daily to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Create a motivating environment for employees to achieve goals.
  • Manage the overall success of the community, including renewals and sales.
  • Oversee apartment turnovers and expense control.
  • Handle resident work orders and rent collections.
  • Build strong relationships with residents to enhance customer loyalty.
