About the position

The Community Manager at Red Tail Residential is responsible for optimizing net operating income through effective cost control and maintaining high occupancy levels. This role involves developing marketing plans, managing a high-quality on-site team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Community Manager will also oversee operational safety, conduct inspections, and analyze market surveys for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Optimize net operating income through efficient cost control.
• Ensure consistently high occupancy levels.
• Develop marketing plans while staying informed about market conditions and competitive pricing.
• Submit operational and financial data to the Regional Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high-quality on-site team through effective management training.
• Implement company policies and procedures.
• Lead inspirational team meetings.
• Oversee the operational safety of the community.
• Schedule vendors to keep vacant units ready for occupancy.
• Conduct regular visual inspections of grounds, buildings, and apartment units.
• Complete and analyze market surveys for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Community Manager in the Multifamily Industry.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions and use on-site resident management software.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Apartment Manager certification (CAM) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check software programs preferred.
