About the position

As a Community Manager at Goldelm Capital LLC, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for both team members and residents within the community. This position is not confined to a typical office environment; instead, you will be actively engaged in the community, ensuring that it is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Your daily responsibilities will include walking through the community to assess its condition and to ensure that residents are satisfied with their living environment. You will be responsible for creating a motivating atmosphere for employees, encouraging them to meet challenging goals and uphold high standards of service. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall success of the community, which encompasses various operational components such as managing renewals, overseeing sales, ensuring timely apartment turns, controlling expenses, handling resident work orders, and managing rent collections. Your extensive supervisory experience will be crucial as you lead your team, instilling confidence and a commitment to excellence. You will also leverage your customer service expertise to turn unhappy residents into satisfied customers, teaching your team how to effectively handle challenging situations. Additionally, your exposure to financial decision-making will be essential, as you will need to operate within budgetary guidelines and make quick financial decisions while considering multiple variables.

Requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management for at least 2 years.
  • Experience in leasing apartments for at least 4 years.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
