We are seeking an experienced Community Manager for our 131-unit community, FountainGlen Jacaranda, located in Fullerton, CA. This position is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Community Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision and performance of the property, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Community Manager will oversee hiring, training, and developing a competent team. They will manage daily operations, including reviewing daily rent recommendations, collecting rents, implementing timely legal delinquent rent procedures, and ensuring compliance with resident insurance procedures. The manager will also be responsible for screening criteria adherence, resident retention procedures, and timely completion of weekly reports. Additionally, they will review and analyze monthly performance, complete variance reports, and initiate annual budgets and forecasts. The role requires identifying potential market challenges, educating staff and regional managers about competitors, and creating effective marketing plans. The Community Manager will ensure that recurring contract work is bid out routinely, confirm contractor insurance compliance, and monitor contractor performance. Safety procedures, including OSHA compliance, will also be a priority, along with identifying potential repairs or capital projects. The manager will ensure that the property meets corporate and regional standards for curb appeal and risk management.
