About the position

The Community Manager at Sares Regis Group is responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of a multifamily property in Henderson, NV, with over 300 units. This role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with policies, maximizing income through effective rent collection and marketing strategies, and maintaining high standards of property management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the overall performance of the property.
• Hire, train, and develop a competent team.
• Manage daily operations, including rent collection and legal procedures for delinquent rents.
• Ensure compliance with resident insurance and screening criteria.
• Implement resident retention procedures effectively and timely.
• Complete weekly and monthly reports accurately and on time.
• Analyze monthly performance and prepare variance reports.
• Initiate annual budgets and forecasts.
• Identify market challenges and create effective marketing plans.
• Bid out recurring contract work to ensure quality and best pricing.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures.
• Identify potential repairs or capital projects in conjunction with maintenance supervisor.
• Maintain quality curb appeal and manage risk management issues.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Community Manager for properties with 300+ units.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general operations software.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.
• Strong sales skills and ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately.
