About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential community, ensuring high occupancy rates, and providing exceptional service to residents. This role requires strong administrative skills, a background in leasing, and the ability to foster a positive community environment through effective communication and event organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lease up the community and maintain high occupancy.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the community, including resident relations and light property maintenance.
  • Conduct data entry and communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Oversee facilities management to ensure all amenities are well-maintained and operational.
  • Coordinate with the regional maintenance team to address resident requests and ensure timely repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
  • Utilize property management software such as Appfolio or OneSite for efficient record keeping and reporting.
  • Handle legal administrative tasks related to tenant agreements and eviction processes when necessary.
  • Foster a sense of community by organizing events and activities for residents.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Leasing or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in property management software; experience with OneSite or Appfolio is an advantage.
