About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for leading an experience-oriented community by executing annual business plans that meet or exceed goals set by senior leadership. This role serves as a growth platform for individuals aspiring to become General Managers or Area Leaders, providing mentorship and direct reporting to experienced division executives. The position focuses on achieving profitability, customer satisfaction, and exceptional internal experiences while overseeing a team that may include Sales, Operations, and Warranty Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and lead the community to achieve profitability goals.
  • Maximize revenue through sales, starts, and closings while reducing costs.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction surveys and address opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver 100% complete homes at closing and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Create growth strategies for direct reports and conduct weekly one-on-one meetings.
  • Facilitate monthly business meetings to present financial and performance metrics.
  • Participate in new acquisition efforts and assist with due diligence and feasibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of related experience in the industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
