About the position

The Community Manager at Tokola Properties is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Alpine Meadows I and II properties in Gresham, Oregon. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and profitable management of the community while enhancing resident satisfaction and well-being. The Community Manager will engage in various tasks, including leasing, resident communication, and property maintenance oversight, all while fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Create leasing documents for new residents and renewals.
  • Use available software to communicate with residents, create lease documents, and screen applicants.
  • Pursue leads and communicate with potential residents, responding to inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Answer phones, emails, and speak with walk-ins in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address resident concerns and handle day-to-day problems decisively and constructively.
  • Manage all office operations.
  • Oversee the Maintenance teams, including coordinating work orders and assisting with walk-throughs of vacant units to ensure conditions are move-in ready.
  • Perform daily property walks to ensure curb appeal and oversee the condition of the physical property.
  • Provide direction and coordinate work-flow for all staff.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 3 years of property management experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Driver's License
  • 1 year of leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
