About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals.
• Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records related to property management, including financial reports and tenant files.
• Ensure compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations as applicable.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication and community engagement initiatives.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained.
• Collaborate with legal administrative staff to address any tenant-related legal matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of real estate administrative processes and property leasing practices.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with residents and staff alike.
• Knowledge of property maintenance procedures is desirable.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
