About the position

As a Community Manager at ConAm Management Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and management of a multi-family residential community located in San Rafael, CA. This full-time position requires a customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage various aspects of property management, including financial oversight, resident relations, and property maintenance. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining financial reports, budgets, and ensuring that the community meets its operational goals. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive living environment for residents and ensuring that the property is well-maintained and attractive to potential tenants. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and an Employee Assistance Program. The position also includes a pay range of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, along with the added benefit of discounted housing. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the multi-family residential community.
  • Manage financials, budgets, and reporting for the property.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and resident satisfaction.
  • Coordinate maintenance and renovation projects for the property.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and property management activities.
  • Lead and train staff members to ensure effective property management operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing an apartment community.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with conventional properties and property management software (Yardi or MRI preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in interior and exterior renovation projects.
  • Customer service experience in a property management context.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
