About the position

The Community Manager at Westdale Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational success of a 300-unit apartment community in Denton, TX. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, and management skills to ensure resident satisfaction and effective property management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record in on-site apartment management.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial and operational accountability for the property.
• Managing and coordinating persons, activities, and available resources to accomplish property objectives as set by the Regional Director and property owner.
• Working with residents to renew leases, resolve problems, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Recording resident data such as traffic, leasing activity, renewals, and collection activity.
• Hiring, training, motivating, and supervising staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in on-site property management.
• At least 1 year of Community Manager experience at an apartment community.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or similar programs.
• Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Effective mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
