About the position

The Community Manager at Fusion Property Management Company is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the property. This role involves planning and implementing procedures, directing tasks to property staff, and providing excellent customer service while managing budgets and compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the community in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Meet deadlines for reporting, including daily, weekly, and monthly financial, leasing, and operational reports.
• Ensure timely completion of daily financial transactions and strong rent collection with delinquency control.
• Prepare and serve notices to residents, audit resident ledgers, and enforce leases to maximize revenue while maintaining customer service.
• Maintain curb appeal and understand current market conditions and competitive pricing.
• Submit invoices timely and manage daily operations in accordance with the budget.
• Manage vendors to obtain the best pricing for asset management.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely turnover of apartments and oversee tenant improvements.
• Work closely with the renovations team to ensure timely delivery of units on budget.
• Interact effectively with prospects, residents, vendors, peers, management, and ownership group.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience managing large properties (300+ units).
• Experience with AppFolio software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check including criminal and employment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in managing/leasing multi-family properties.
