About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for leading and managing an experience-oriented community, executing annual business plans to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction goals. This role serves as a growth platform for individuals aspiring to become General Managers or Area Leaders, providing mentorship and direct reporting to experienced division executives. The position involves overseeing various operational aspects, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and facilitating training and development for direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and lead the community by executing annual business plans.
• Achieve and exceed profitability goals by maximizing revenue and reducing costs.
• Monitor customer satisfaction surveys and address opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver exceptional experiences to internal customers and create growth strategies for direct reports.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to alleviate challenges.
• Facilitate monthly business meetings to present financial and performance metrics.
• Participate in new acquisition efforts and assist with due diligence and feasibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience and/or training in the industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Strong language skills for effective communication and presentations.
• Advanced mathematical skills for applying complex concepts.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in community management or real estate development.
• Familiarity with customer satisfaction processes and metrics.
