About the position

The Community Manager at Landsman Real Estate Services Inc. is responsible for overseeing all site operations and leading a team to ensure the success of property management, particularly in affordable housing. This full-time role requires a customer service-oriented individual with proven experience in property management and employee leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site operations and ensure effective property management.
  • Lead and supervise a team of 3-6 individuals.
  • Manage tenant relations and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Handle property maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with property management regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years experience in property/maintenance management or related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) or Certified Manager of Housing (CMH) certification preferred.
  • NYS Notary License must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, time management, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Tenant rental Certification System (TRACS).
  • Ability to manage a variable schedule and remain available for property emergencies.
