Maison Burbank is located in Baton Rouge near Louisiana State University, a flourishing college market! Our ideal candidate will have experience in Property Management; however, we are willing to train the right person! If you are a Leasing Manager or Assistant Community Manager aspiring for a big step in your career to showcase your skills and knowledge in Student Housing, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The Community Manager is responsible for motivating and leading the team to success, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, and completing move-in procedures in accordance with the company and the community's established policies and procedures. You will be responsible for collecting rent each month and enforcing the rules and regulations of the lease contract. Aspen Square Management is the proud new owner of Maison Burbank, and with the acquisition we are undergoing several stunning and exciting renovations to our amenity space and exterior - coming soon in Winter 2023-Spring 2024! Be a part of this exciting transition by preleasing the property to 100% for the 2024-2025 leasing season, providing exceptional customer service for our current and prospective residents, and working together with the Maintenance Supervisor to help the property meet and exceed goals including management of projects, leasing, renewals, and delinquency goals. You will work together for the purpose of maximizing cash flow while keeping in line with your budget.

Responsibilities

  • Motivating and leading the team to success.
  • Leasing apartments and qualifying prospects.
  • Completing move-in procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Collecting rent each month and enforcing lease contract rules.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
  • Working with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet and exceed property goals.
  • Managing projects, leasing, renewals, and delinquency goals.
  • Maximizing cash flow while adhering to budget constraints.

Requirements

  • 2+ years proven track record in a management role (student housing industry preferred, but not required).
  • A friendly, outgoing personality.
  • The ability to lead and motivate others.
  • The ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be goal driven, a self-starter, and able to meet and exceed deadlines.
  • Exceptional sales and marketing skills.
