Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the overall performance of the property.
• Hire, train, and develop a competent team.
• Manage daily operations, including rent collection and legal procedures for delinquent rents.
• Ensure compliance with resident insurance and screening criteria.
• Implement resident retention procedures effectively and timely.
• Complete weekly and monthly performance reports accurately and on time.
• Initiate annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing monthly performance and variances.
• Identify market challenges and create effective marketing plans.
• Bid out recurring contract work to ensure quality and best pricing.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures, educating the team as necessary.
• Identify potential repairs or capital projects in conjunction with the maintenance supervisor.
• Maintain quality curb appeal and address risk management issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Community Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general operations software.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and write reports.
• Basic math skills for calculating figures such as discounts and percentages.
