About the position

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential community, ensuring a positive living environment for residents and the overall success of the community. This role involves managing administrative tasks, addressing resident concerns, and maintaining compliance with housing regulations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining resident files.
  • Address resident concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilize property management software to manage leasing, rent collection, and maintenance requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective tenants, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of fair housing laws and ensure compliance in all aspects of the community's operations.
  • Build strong relationships with residents to foster a sense of community and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and other real estate administrative tasks.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and assist with the leasing process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leasing, maintenance, and resident communications.

Requirements

  • Must be Bi-Lingual-English/Spanish
  • Previous experience as a Community Manager or similar role in the property management industry.
  • Proficient in using property management software such as OneSite and Knock.
  • Strong knowledge of fair housing regulations and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Sales experience is preferred but not required.
