About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a background in leasing, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents. This role involves lease up targets, maintaining curb appeal, collaborating with other teams to support residents, and fostering a positive community environment.

Responsibilities

• Lease up the community, then maintain high occupancy
• Manage day-to-day operations of the community, including resident relations and light property maintenance
• Conduct data entry and communicate effectively with internal teams
• Oversee facilities management to ensure all amenities are well-maintained and operational
• Coordinate with regional maintenance team to address resident requests and ensure timely repairs
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Utilize property management software such as Appfolio or OneSite for efficient record keeping and reporting
• Handle legal administrative tasks related to tenant agreements and eviction processes when necessary
• Foster a sense of community by organizing events and activities for residents

Requirements

• Proven experience in Leasing or a similar role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and follow up
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in property management software; experience with OneSite or Appfolio is an advantage
• Texas Real Estate License (Preferred)
